PSTP has assembled a stellar consortium of firms and experts to collaborate on tidal power. They include:

Manson Construction: The largest marine construction company in the NW.

Evans Hamilton: The premier oceanography and survey consulting firm in the NW.

BioSonics Inc.: Fisheries hydroacoustics experts now monitoring a tidal turbine installation in New York.

Williamson and Associates: Ocean survey, bathymetric, geotechnical and ocean engineering experts.

Sound Ocean Systems, Inc.: Instrument buoys, custom engineering, winches and more.

Coast and Harbor Engineering: Marine structure design and analysis.

Meridian Environmental: Environmental permitting and FERC licensing.

Resource Dimensions: Economists, planners and renewable energy policy and economics.

Burton Hamner, Founder / President, Puget Sound Tidal Power LLC

1994-2004: Clean technology and international development consultant to the US Agency for International Development, the United Nations, the Asian Development Bank, Governments of Thailand and Peru. Visiting Professor, Asian Institute of Management (Philippines) and Universidad del Pacifico (Peru). Advisor to the Latin America Task Force of the United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative. Chair of the session on Clean Technology and Finance at the UN Global Summit on Sustainable Finance at UN Headquarters in New York City.

1991-1994: Environmental Planner, Washington Department of Ecology, Industrial Pollution Prevention program.

1979-1991: Coastal environmental coordinator, US Army Corps of Engineers, Seattle District; MBA and Master of Marine Affairs degrees at University of Washington; Board member / officer for Puget Sound Alliance, Washington Environmental Council, Seattle Aquarium; Marketing director for BioSonics, Inc.
